In loving memory of my father Rosendo F. Beloz
God bless our Veterans This web site is dedicated to the loving memory of my father Rosendo F. Beloz. U.S. Army, 187th Airborne Company "C". My Dad served in Japan during occupation for 2 years and later on was sent to Korea. He was with the 11th & 187th Airborne from 1948 to 1952. My Dad died October 12th 1994 in the VA Hospital and was buried with full Military Honors at the Riverside National Cemetery in California.
His wife and children will for ever miss & love him. My Dad was a proud Paratrooper. He loved being an American and believed in the code of Honor when duty called to serve his country.

When, I was a young gal, I noticed my Dad's old army jacket hanging in the closet. I also notice all his ribbons and medals. Just then my Dad walked in and was a little bit upset at me for taking down his jacket out of the closet! I asked him if he was a some kind of War Hero. That's when my Dad started to tear up a bit and I could see in his eyes how painful it was for him. He said "No, I am no Hero, all the Hero's died in Korea and that Honor is reserved for them only" I never touch his army jacket after that day. That was the first time, I ever saw my Father cry.

I wish, I knew more about my father's Army days but I don't. That's because he never really talked about what happen to him and so many young men like him. My Dad was that best father a kid could of ever had growing up. He taught us to be proud to be Americans. That the United States of America was the land of the Free! And that many young men died during War time to fight for freedom. My father is no longer with us his but his memory lives with in us for eternity. I tell his grandchildren "Hey did you know that, your Grandpa Beloz was a Korean War Veteran." Now days most kids don't even know what that means. So I make it my job to tell them what it means to be a Veteran. I tell them this so, that they will never forget the Forgotten War. Yes, may Korea never be forgotten no more. Please remember to put your flag out on Veterans day. May God always bless our Veterans. A proud daughter of a Korean War Veteran.

A Prayer for All
May this prayer be for all: for those who do not know how to pray, for those who know how to pray but won't , for those who cannot pray due to poverty, conflict, or disease;

May this prayer bring peace to all: to those for whom war is a way of life, to those for whom peace is still a dream, to those whose personal war is greater than that between kingdoms;

May this prayer bring health to all: to those too young to know they are praying, to those too old to remember how to pray, to those who would pray if they only had time;

May this prayer bring love to all: to those who have lost faith in love, to those still longing to find love, to those who cannot see love in the darkest of places;

May this prayer bring Light to all; to those who call it God, to those who call it Buddha, to those who call it Allah, to those who call it Christ, Shekhinah or Mohammed;

May this peace, this health, this love, this Light, this prayer be for all.

Pray for those that did not make it home !
Save our flag What so proudly they hailed...
Congress just overwhelmingly passed the American Flag protection bill...again! It still needs
passage by the Senate with a 2/3 majority, (67 Votes) Hoping they will pass it this year. Last two years we only needed three more senators to vote in favor of the flag protection bill for it to become law as a constitutional amendment. It still would need ratification of 3/4ths of the states, no problem as 49 states already have flag protection laws on their books. Only Vermont don't have such a law.

Uh, If in uniform go salute our flag, if not in uniform go face our flag and place your hand over your heart, then write your senators urging
them to urge other senators to vote in favor of protecting our flag. Only need three votes!
The proposal passed by the House simply says:
"The Congress shall have power to prohibit the physical desecration of the flag of the United States."
